Project Udan is also one of the many projects initiated by Nir Foundation. Project Udan focuses on helping differently abled (handicapped) people.

Nir Foundation is offering moving assistant equipment  like tricycle, wheelchair, walking sticks and crutches to the disabled person if the person is not able to afford one.

Project udan also focuses on educating children with disabilities. Any child has a right to education and a disabled child is no different. If any needy disabled child wants help for the education then Nir Foundation is eager to help. Nir foundation can provide fees, books, bags, dress and any other type of help for the education of a disabled child.

Nir Foundation is also offering help to a disabled person in getting any equipment for self-employment. Not only that, Nir Foundation educates disabled people about the different schemes run by government.  Under these schemes, disabled person can get a discount in bus pass, railway pass or can get a loan for starting a small business. The foundation can also help in getting disability certificate which can be useful for getting benefits of disabilities schemes run by the government.

Criteria For Getting Help from Nir Foundation

As of right now, Nir Foudnation is working in very limited capacity. So the first criterion for getting help from Nir Foundation is that the disabled person must be referred by Nir Foundation member.

The second criterion is that the person should have a disability certificate by civil surgeon. If the person is not having disability certificate then Nir foundation will help him/her to get the disability certificate.

The last criterion is that the person must have a valid photo identification proof like Aadhar Card or Election card.
